CUSTOM FURNITURE.
MADE SIMPLE.

There are two ways to start.
Propose an original idea, or something you have in mind. Please fill out the Design Form below and if there is sufficient information, I can provide a free rough estimate and we proceed if it’s a good fit for both of us.
Choose one of my original designs to start from and make any customizations you want. You can select a preferred wood or colour, or change the dimensions to suit your space.
-
If submitting your own idea, I will provide you with three 3D digital renderings (similar to what’s on the Designs page ) and some information about each piece, including a final cost.
From here you can either select one and go, or make design changes to one of the designs I provide.
I do charge a design fee for this, however if we move forward with the project this is deducted from the final cost.
-
When a design has been selected, I ask for a 50% of the cost to be paid up front, after which, work will begin.
I will provide updates and photographs of the progress being made. I respect the trust and commitment you’re putting into me to complete your piece, so I am equally as committed to keeping you involved and aware of what’s happening with the project. And I am 100% available to my clients for any questions or concerns.
-
Delivery is made to your home or office, at which point the remainder of the cost is due.

FAQs
Will my estimate change mid-build?
No. Once I give you a project cost, I’m not going to hit you with a “well this is how much you ACTUALLY owe me” bill at the end of the project. I don’t have an hourly or daily rate. I take my time considering the cost of materials (which I’m happy to be transparent about) and labour before getting started, so your final estimate is indeed final.
How long does it take to complete a project?
It really depends on the project and how many people I have lined up in the queue. Generally between 4-8 weeks from start to finish once I’ve started work on a piece. These items are handmade and labour is always pretty significant. I provide frequent updates to customers on the status of their build.
What if I change my mind on something mid-build?
Changes can be requested mid-process, but bear in mind that this will incur additional costs. Even things that may seem minor…Hey, can we make the table one inch wider?…may require significant material purchases or labour investments. However, I make every effort to be reasonable, so as long as it isn’t an expensive hassle, it’s usually not a problem and I don’t require any extra money.
What materials do you use?
The selection of materials will be part of the initial design process, as it can have a dramatic impact on cost. If you have a particular wood species you want, that definitely makes things easier. If not, then I’ll inform you of what I think good options will be and we can come to a decision together.
I also don’t exclusively use wood. Steel and metal bases and legs are quite popular these days and I’m happy to use those if that’s what you want.
